Caldera's softball team turned Thursday's road trip to Bend into an offensive showcase, pounding out a 16-5 victory that kept their remarkable season rolling. The explosive performance marked another dominant display for a squad that continues to set the standard in league play.

The visiting team wasted little time establishing control, building an insurmountable lead through consistent hitting and aggressive baserunning. While Bend managed five runs of their own, they were overmatched by Caldera's relentless offensive attack that produced 16 runs across seven innings.

The victory improves Caldera to an impressive 17-1 overall record and 12-1 in conference play, maintaining their position atop the league standings. With just their lone conference loss preventing a perfect league record, the team has established itself as the clear favorite heading into the final stretch of regular season play.

Caldera will look to continue their dominant form as they prepare for the upcoming league tournament, where their explosive offensive capabilities could prove decisive in championship competition.
