Caldera defeated Wilsonville 9-4 in non-league softball action at home today, extending their impressive season with another strong offensive showing. The Wolfpack of Bend, Oregon, who compete in the Intermountain Conference (5A), controlled the game against their visitors from the Portland metro area. Caldera jumped ahead early and maintained their advantage throughout the contest, using timely hitting to build a comfortable lead. The home team's balanced attack proved too much for Wilsonville to overcome, as multiple players contributed to the nine-run output. Defensively, Caldera made the plays when needed to secure the victory. The win moves the Wolfpack to 26-1 overall on the season, showcasing their dominance across all levels of competition. With the regular season winding down, today's performance against quality non-league competition provides valuable preparation for the upcoming postseason. Caldera will look to carry this momentum into their final games as they prepare for what promises to be an exciting playoff run.
