Caldera Wolfpack Softball 11-1 La Salle Prep

Caldera crushed La Salle Prep 11-1 in a non-league softball showdown at home Thursday, continuing their dominant run through the 2026 spring season. The Wolfpack from Bend, Oregon, competing in the Intermountain Conference (5A), used the non-league contest as valuable preparation heading into the postseason.
The lopsided victory improved Caldera's outstanding record to 24-1 overall, with their conference mark standing at 17-1. The Wolfpack offense exploded for 11 runs against the visiting Falcons, showcasing the balanced attack that has made them one of Central Oregon's premier softball programs this spring.
With just one loss on their resume, Caldera has established itself as a force to be reckoned with not only in the Intermountain Conference but throughout 5A softball. The convincing win over La Salle Prep demonstrates the team's ability to perform against quality competition from different regions.
As the regular season winds down, the Wolfpack will look to maintain this momentum while fine-tuning their approach for what promises to be an exciting playoff run.
