Summit Storm Baseball 9-4 Mountain View

Summit's baseball offense came alive Thursday evening, powering past Mountain View 9-4 in an Intermountain Conference road matchup. The Storm from Bend, Oregon improved to 18-6 overall and 15-3 in league play with the convincing victory over their 5A conference rivals.
The Storm controlled the contest from early on, building a substantial lead that Mountain View couldn't overcome despite a late rally attempt. Summit's balanced attack produced nine runs of support, giving their pitching staff plenty of cushion to work with throughout the seven innings.
The victory keeps Summit in strong position within the competitive Intermountain Conference standings as the regular season winds down. With their 15-3 league record, the Storm have established themselves as one of the top contenders heading into the final stretch.
Summit will look to maintain their momentum when they return home to Bend next week. The Storm's strong season continues as they prepare for what should be an exciting finish to conference play and potential postseason baseball.
