Summit Storm Baseball 7-3 Mountain View

Summit's offense provided plenty of run support Tuesday night as the Storm defeated Mountain View 7-3 in Intermountain Conference baseball action at home in Bend, Oregon. The Storm controlled the game from early on, building a comfortable lead that allowed them to cruise through the later innings against the visiting Cougars. Summit's balanced attack generated seven runs while the pitching staff limited Mountain View to just three scores in the league contest. The victory keeps Summit rolling through conference play as they continue their strong 5A campaign. With the win, the Storm improved to 17-6 overall and 14-3 in Intermountain Conference play, maintaining their position among the top teams in the league standings. Summit has been one of the most consistent teams in Central Oregon this spring, and Tuesday's performance demonstrated the depth and execution that has made them successful. The Storm will look to carry this momentum into their remaining conference games as the regular season winds down and playoff positioning becomes increasingly important.
