Bend Senior Lava Bears Girls Soccer 3-1 Ridgeview

Bend Senior picked up a convincing road win Thursday night, defeating Ridgeview 3-1 in a 5A-4 Intermountain Conference matchup played in Redmond. The Bend, Oregon-based girls soccer program controlled enough of the contest to pull away with the three-goal margin, moving to 11-2-1 overall and 8-2 in league play with the result. Picking up a win away from home against a conference opponent carries real weight at this stage of the season, and Bend Senior did exactly that, finding the net three times while limiting Ridgeview to a single goal. The Lava Bears entered the game at 10-2-1 and leave with their strongest conference positioning of the fall. With the regular season winding down and postseason seeding on the line, every conference result matters, and Thursday's performance on the road gives Bend Senior some important momentum heading into the final stretch. The Lava Bears will look to build on this result as they push toward the 5A playoffs.
