Summit Storm Softball 5-16 Redmond
Summit's softball team faced a challenging road test Tuesday evening, falling 16-5 to Redmond in league action at Redmond High School. The Storm struggled to contain the Panthers' offensive attack throughout the contest, as Redmond built momentum early and maintained control.
Despite the difficult outcome, Summit showed resilience by pushing across five runs against a potent Redmond pitching staff. The Storm battled through seven innings on the road, gaining valuable experience in a tough league environment.
The loss moves Summit to 0-12 overall and 0-10 in conference play as the spring season enters its final stretch. With several games remaining on the schedule, the Storm will look to regroup and focus on fundamentals in practice.
Summit returns to action later this week with another league matchup. Coach and players will use this experience as motivation to continue developing their game and building toward next season's foundation.
