Summit Storm Softball 3-19 Redmond

Redmond's offense exploded for 19 runs as the Panthers dominated Summit 19-3 in Intermountain Conference softball action Wednesday at Summit High School in Bend, Oregon. The visiting Panthers capitalized on numerous scoring opportunities throughout the contest, building an insurmountable lead against the Storm. Summit managed to plate three runs but couldn't match Redmond's offensive output in the 5A league matchup. The Storm battled through difficult innings as Redmond consistently found ways to reach base and drive home runs. Summit's efforts weren't enough to slow down the Panthers' momentum in what became a challenging night for the home team. The loss drops Summit to 0-18 overall and 0-16 in conference play as the spring season continues. With the regular season winding down, Summit will look to regroup and focus on finishing strong in their remaining Intermountain Conference games. The Storm will need to make adjustments at the plate and in the field as they prepare for their next league contest.
