Caldera Wolfpack Football 19-42 Mountain View

Mountain View handed Caldera a 42-19 defeat Thursday night in a 5A Intermountain Conference football game played in Bend, Oregon, dropping the Condors to 4-3 on the season. The loss came at home, where Caldera had hoped to build on recent momentum heading into the back half of league play. Mountain View proved too much to handle, building a lead that Caldera could not overcome despite the Condors finding the end zone twice in the contest. The 23-point margin reflects a difficult night across all phases for Caldera, which now sits at 2-2 in conference play with the playoff picture coming into sharper focus. Games like this one against a tough Mountain View squad will serve as measuring sticks as the Condors look to close the regular season strong. Caldera will need a bounce-back performance in its next outing to keep postseason hopes firmly in reach.
