Madras White Buffaloes Girls Soccer 3-2 North Marion

A hard-fought 3-2 victory over North Marion on Monday gave the Madras girls soccer team a much-needed boost in Tri-Valley Conference (4A) play, with the White Buffaloes picking up the win in front of their home crowd in Madras, Oregon. The result lifts Madras to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in conference play, snapping a stretch of difficult outings for a squad that has been battling to find its footing this fall. North Marion made it a contest until the final whistle, but Madras held on to secure all three points in what turned out to be a tightly contested league match. Madras will look to carry that confidence into their next outing as they continue pushing for ground in the Tri-Valley standings.
