Madras White Buffaloes Girls Soccer 2-0 North Marion

A shutout victory on the road gave Madras girls soccer a much-needed boost Thursday, as the White Buffaloes from Madras, Oregon, defeated North Marion 2-0 in a 4A-2 Tri-Valley Conference matchup. The win moves Madras to 4-9 overall and 2-6 in league play.

Traveling to face the Huskies, Madras controlled the result from start to finish, keeping a clean sheet throughout the contest. Without a detailed box score available, the final margin tells its own story. Holding any opponent scoreless on the road is a credit to the defensive effort the White Buffaloes brought into the match.

The victory snaps what had been a difficult stretch for a young squad still building toward the future. Getting two goals on the board while posting a shutout shows the kind of balanced performance this group is capable of producing.

Madras will look to carry that momentum forward as the 4A-2 Tri-Valley Conference schedule winds down and the team looks to close the season on a positive note.
