Redmond Panthers Baseball 8-12 Crook County

Four runs in the top of the seventh inning lifted Crook County past Redmond 12-8 in Friday's baseball showdown at home. The Panthers couldn't hold a late lead as the Cowboys rallied for the Intermountain Conference (5A) victory in Redmond, Oregon.
Redmond battled throughout the contest, matching Crook County's offensive output for most of the game. The Panthers showed fight at the plate, putting up eight runs against their conference rivals. However, defensive struggles in key moments allowed the Cowboys to capitalize on scoring opportunities.
The loss drops Redmond to 5-22 overall and 1-17 in Intermountain Conference play as the spring season winds down. Despite the challenging campaign, the Panthers have continued to compete hard in league action.
With the regular season nearing its conclusion, Redmond will look to finish strong in their remaining conference games. The Panthers have shown glimpses of their potential throughout the year and hope to carry that momentum into their final contests.
