Summit Storm Girls Soccer 6-0 Redmond / Culver

Six goals and a clean sheet told the story Friday night as the Summit Storm girls soccer team rolled past Redmond/Culver 6-0 in Intermountain Conference (5A) play in Bend, Oregon. The commanding shutout victory pushed Summit to 6-0-2 on the season and 4-0 in league play, keeping the Storm firmly atop the conference standings. Playing at home, Summit controlled the match from start to finish, finding the net six times while keeping the visiting side off the board entirely. The depth of the Storm's attack was on full display, as the goals were spread across the contest rather than arriving in a single burst. Defensively, Summit was equally sharp, surrendering no real danger on the night. The result extends what has been an impressive unbeaten run through eight games this fall. Summit will look to carry that momentum into the next stretch of the league schedule as the postseason picture continues to take shape in Central Oregon.
