Summit Storm Boys Soccer 5-0 Caldera

A five-goal shutout told the story Saturday as Summit boys soccer rolled past Caldera 5-0 in a 5A-4 Intermountain Conference league match played in Bend, Oregon. The Storm controlled the contest from start to finish, sending a statement to the rest of the conference with one of their most complete performances of the fall. With the win, Summit improves to 13-1-1 overall and 11-1 in league play, cementing their place among the top contenders in the Intermountain Conference. The Storm entered the match at 12-1-1, already one of the stronger records in Central Oregon, and only added to that standing with a commanding clean sheet. Caldera had no answer for Summit's attack, which found the net five times while the Storm's defense held firm throughout. With the regular season winding down, Summit will look to carry this momentum into what figures to be a strong postseason run.
