Mountain View Cougars Boys Soccer 0-8 Summit

Summit handed Mountain View a decisive 8-0 defeat Thursday in a 5A-4 Intermountain Conference boys soccer match played at Mountain View's home field in Bend, Oregon. The Cougars had no answer for Summit's attack, falling by eight goals on their own turf as the Storm rolled to a dominant victory. Mountain View drops to 1-12-1 overall and 1-9 in conference play following the loss. It has been a difficult fall campaign for the Cougars, and Thursday's result reflects the challenges a young or rebuilding squad can face against a competitive conference foe. Summit showed sharp finishing and stout defense throughout, keeping Mountain View off the scoreboard entirely. Despite the tough stretch, the season is not over, and the Cougars still have an opportunity to finish on a stronger note. Mountain View's next match will offer a chance to regroup, compete hard, and carry some positive momentum into the offseason as the program looks ahead to future seasons.
