Sisters Outlaws Girls Volleyball 3-2 Catlin Gabel

Five sets and a long drive later, Sisters volleyball came home with a win. The Outlaws defeated Portland's Catlin Gabel 3-2 on Saturday in a non-league road match, improving to 20-7 on the season. Sisters, a 3A-5 Mountain Valley Conference program based in Sisters, Oregon, made the trip to Catlin Gabel and earned every point of a hard-fought victory that went the distance before the Outlaws finally pulled through in the fifth set. Grinding out a five-set win on the road against a non-league opponent is exactly the kind of challenge that sharpens a team heading into the postseason. The Outlaws entered the match at 19-7 and now sit at 20-7 with the victory, a strong position as the fall season winds down. Wins like this one, earned in a tough environment against unfamiliar competition, tend to pay dividends when the lights get brighter. Sisters will look to carry that momentum forward as playoff positioning comes into focus.
