Sisters Outlaws Girls Soccer 3-3 Crosshill Christian / Jefferson

A dramatic finish on the road ended in a 3-3 tie Thursday as the Sisters girls soccer team split points with Crosshill Christian/Jefferson in Oregon West Conference (4A) league play. The Outlaws of Sisters, Oregon, had to fight back on the road to earn the draw, keeping their conference standing intact heading into the final stretch of the fall season. Sisters entered the match at 7-3-2 overall and now sit at 7-3-3 after the result, with a conference record of 4-3. The tie is a mixed result for a Sisters squad that has shown plenty of firepower this season. Earning a point on the road in league play has value, but the Outlaws will know a win was there for the taking after matching Crosshill Christian/Jefferson goal for goal. With the Oregon West Conference race tightening, Sisters will need to close out remaining league matches with wins to secure a strong postseason position. The Outlaws return to action next week looking to build on their strong overall record.
