Ridgeview Ravens Girls Soccer 1-1 Mountain View

A hard-fought girls soccer match ended in a 1-1 draw Saturday as Ridgeview traveled to Mountain View, picking up a point in 5A-4 Intermountain Conference play. The Ravens, based in Redmond, Oregon, battled the rival Cougars to a standstill in what proved to be a competitive league contest on Halloween afternoon.

Neither side could find a decisive second goal, and the Ravens held their ground to secure the draw on the road. For Ridgeview, it was a moment worth building on. The Ravens moved to 3-11-2 overall and 1-8 in conference play with the result, adding a second draw to their season ledger.

The tie also carried a measure of regional rivalry satisfaction, as Mountain View and Ridgeview share a natural Central Oregon connection that makes every matchup meaningful regardless of the standings.

Ridgeview will look to carry this momentum into the final stretch of the season as the conference schedule winds down.
