Mountain View Cougars Football 35-0 Bend

Mountain View delivered a dominant statement Friday night, shutting out rival Bend 35-0 in a league football game played in Bend, Oregon. The Cougars controlled the contest from start to finish, holding the Lava Bears scoreless while piling up 35 points on the road in one of their most complete performances of the season. The victory moves Mountain View to 7-1 overall and 4-1 in league play, keeping the Cougars firmly in the hunt for a conference title as the regular season winds down. A shutout against a crosstown rival on the road carries extra weight, and this one signals that Mountain View is playing its best football at exactly the right time. With the playoffs approaching, the Cougars will look to carry this momentum into their final regular season games and lock up the strongest possible seeding heading into the postseason.
