Madras White Buffaloes Boys Soccer 8-0 Estacada

Eight goals and a clean sheet told the story Tuesday as the Madras boys soccer team rolled past Estacada 8-0 in Tri-Valley Conference (4A) play at home in Madras, Oregon. The lopsided result pushed Madras to 7-4-1 overall and 4-1 in league, keeping the White Buffaloes firmly in the conference playoff picture with the postseason approaching. Estacada had no answer for a Madras attack that found the net repeatedly throughout the match, and the defense held firm to preserve the shutout. The eight-goal margin was a statement performance for a program that entered the night at 6-4-1 and needed a convincing league result to strengthen its standing. With the conference slate nearing its final stretch, Tuesday's performance gives Madras momentum heading into the final weeks of the regular season. The White Buffaloes will look to build on this result and secure their position at the top of the Tri-Valley standings.
