La Pine Hawks Softball 4-15 Crook County

Crook County's explosive offense proved too much for La Pine on Monday afternoon, as the Cowboys rolled to a 15-4 softball victory at Hawks Field. The non-league matchup quickly turned into a slugfest, with Crook County breaking the game open early and never looking back.

La Pine managed to put four runs on the board but couldn't match the Cowboys' offensive firepower throughout the seven-inning contest. The Hawks showed flashes of competitive play but struggled to contain Crook County's aggressive approach at the plate.

The loss drops La Pine to 1-4 on the young spring season as they continue working to find their rhythm. Despite the lopsided score, the Hawks gained valuable experience against a quality opponent that should serve them well as league play approaches.

La Pine will look to bounce back and build momentum when they return to action later this week. The Hawks have shown they can compete, as evidenced by their season-opening victory, and will aim to carry those lessons into their next outing.
