Bend Senior Lava Bears Boys Soccer 8-0 Caldera

Eight goals and a clean sheet told the story Thursday night as Bend Senior boys soccer rolled past Caldera 8-0 in an Intermountain Conference (5A) home match in Bend, Oregon. The shutout victory pushes the Lava Bears to 10-1 overall and 6-1 in league play, keeping them firmly in the mix at the top of the conference standings. Caldera had no answer for a Bend Senior attack that found the net with remarkable consistency, and the defense matched that energy by holding the visitors scoreless through the full 80 minutes. A margin that wide in a league contest speaks to the depth and cohesion the Lava Bears have built across this fall campaign. With the regular season winding down, every conference result carries added weight in determining playoff positioning. Bend Senior will look to carry this momentum into their next matchup and continue building the kind of form that makes them a serious postseason contender in the 5A classification.
